Many people are a bit fed up with boring gifts, especially in the upcoming end of year season.
To help them out, we recently launched Billy, the first Belgian gift card for online shopping -an initiative of the Leuven startup Blue Ocean-.
Thanks to Billy you can buy and send online animated gifts wrapped up in original package with a personalized message.
To install this new concept we developed a fun online application in which surfers can compare their own gift-taste with the original gift-taste of 100 snazzy, contemporary and famous Flemish people.
Participants who have for 100% the same gift-taste as one of the celebs, gain a Billy worth 10 Euros. Participants who also choose the same charity afterwards, have the possibility to win €2500.
To make this campaign the talk of town, we invited the most prominent Flemish bloggers to be the first ones to test Billy. Afterwards we stuck a post-it on Het Laatste Nieuws and started an online campaign with bannering on HLN.be, DeMorgen.be, Netlog, MSN Live, Rendez-vous.be,…
